FlyLock, a leading provider of access control solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with the Electronic Security Association (ESA) to arm technicians with industry-leading training and to enrich services offered by its growing network of nearly 100 franchise locations across the United States.

Through this partnership, ESA becomes FlyLock’s trusted provider of industry-leading education, certification, and business resources. FlyLock franchise owners and their teams will have the opportunity to adopt ESA’s National Training School programs—widely recognized as the gold standard for security and life safety training.

In addition, ESA will serve as a business development partner, delivering tools, business insurance, and guidance designed to help FlyLock locations build profitability, increase recurring monthly revenue (RMR), and strengthen customer relationships.

FlyLock will hold its annual franchisee event in tandem with ESA’s Electronic Security Expo, June 1-4, 2026, in Irving, TX, offering business owners in-person touchpoints with the organization and its membership.

Franchisees are encouraged to stay for ESX’s rich business development content, specializing in RMR growth. Programming specifics are currently in development.

“We’re excited to partner with ESA, whose expertise in training and business support will help accelerate FlyLock’s growth and ensure our franchisees are equipped with the highest level of industry knowledge,” says Barry McMenimom, Chief Business Development Officer. “This collaboration enhances our ability to deliver both cutting-edge security solutions and trusted professionalism to our customers.”

Recognized as a top access control service provider by Enterprise Security, FlyLock joins a cohort of over 1,500 integrator members of the Electronic Security Association — the largest community of electronic security and life safety dealers/integrators in the nation —delivering access control, intrusion, video surveillance, fire, and professional monitoring services to homes, businesses, schools, municipalities, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and more.

“ESA is proud to support FlyLock in its mission to innovate and expand,” says ESA Chairman and COO of Doyle Security, Kevin Stone. “By equipping FlyLock franchisees with proven training and business development resources, we are strengthening not only their success, but the success of our industry as a whole. We welcome them to the ESA Community and look forward to our collaboration.”

The partnership reinforces both organizations’ commitment to raising industry standards, advancing workforce development, and driving sustainable growth in the electronic security and life safety sector.

With over 150 years of experience between the two, this partnership supports industry advancements that further the quest to protect people, places and property.

ESX will extend expo hours at its 2026 event to accommodate increasing interest from security professionals.

The extended expo programming will give security integrators, dealers, and monitoring professionals additional dedicated time to discover innovations, compare solutions, and build partnerships that drive recurring revenue and operational excellence.

“While many shows are seeing increases in end user attendance, ESX has stayed true to its niche and mission of serving the channel,” says Jillian Bateman-McIntosh, COO of ESA. “This is where decision makers from electronic security and life safety integration and dealer companies from across the nation gather to take their business to the next level. We are unwavering to our commitment to delivering an unmatched experience to help them do just that.”

While the event is known for its standout educational sessions focused on best practice sharing, the dedicated expo hours are where decision makers can find partners to help them compete and grow.

By extending dedicated expo hours and programming, ESX aims to make it easier for attendees to see more technology — not for surface-level product demos, but to dig into how products and services can be implemented, sold, marketed and more to drive better business results.

2026 Dedicated Expo Hours

  • Day 1: Tuesday, June 2: 2:00-6:00 p.m.
An additional hour has been added to the expo on this day.
  • Day 2: Wednesday, June 3: 12:00-3:00 p.m.

“Exhibitors asked for more face time with qualified buyers—and buyers asked for more time to evaluate critical categories like video analytics, cloud-based access control, fire alarm systems and more,” says George De Marco, ESX Chairman. “This update is in direct response to that feedback.”

ESX does not offer programming that competes with dedicated expo hours. Instead, educational and networking-focused programming bookends the expo hours to provide a comprehensive experience for business owners and leaders.

ESX reports exhibit sales are up more than 15% compared to 2025.
