Dan Morrin Jr. is the Directing Supervisor of NECCO Security Inc. (Neshaminy Electrical Contractors, Inc.) and President of the Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA) Pennsylvania Regional Chapter. A graduate of Penn State with a degree in Business Management and Marketing, he is an NFPA Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS,) NICET certified Level IV in Fire Alarm Systems and NICET Levels I and II ITFAS (Inspection of Testing in Fire Alarm Systems) with over 30 years of experience in life safety system and building IT communications design, project management, operations and business management.

As an advocate for the fire protection, alarm, signaling systems, and building life safety systems industries, he is the Automatic Fire Alarm Association 2025 Person of the Year Award Recipient, an active member of AFAA National’s Codes and Standards Council and sits as an AFAA Principal on the NFPA 72 Technical Committee for Testing and Maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems (SIG-TMS,) and as an alternate on the Technical Committee for Smoke Management Systems (SMO-AAA) (NFPA 92 Standard for Smoke Control Systems and NFPA 204 Standard for Smoke and Heat Venting.) He works as a Subject Matter Expert on the NICET FAS Job Task Review Committee, NFPA 72 SIG-FUN/ SIG-TMS task group for Cybersecurity in 2022, AFAA Training task group in 2019, and AFAA task group for NFPA 3000 Provisional Standard for Active Shooter and Hostile Event Response in 2018.
