Rick Seymour began his career at the United States Military Academy at West Point before earning an electrical and computer engineering degree at Nova Southeastern University while working for Florida Power and Light. With a strong foundation in engineering, Seymour transitioned into a leadership role, spending 15 years at a Muzak Franchise, where he honed his understanding of the value of recurring monthly revenue. In 2005, he took on a new challenge by purchasing a partnership in a local security integrator, eventually leading the business as its CEO. Under Seymour‘s leadership, the company thrived and was acquired by Guardian Hawk Security in September 2022, where he now serves as chief operating officer. Seymour’s dedication to workforce development is evident through his efforts with the Alarm Association of Florida (AAF) now the Integration Association of Florida (IAF) . In 2014, he and AAF members established a low voltage technician program at Palm Beach State College, which graduates about a dozen NCCER certified technicians each year, all of whom secure employment upon graduation. Additionally, Seymour has served as a board member of the Electronic Security Association (ESA) and was the president of the ESA Florida Charter Chapter.
