David Stang has more than 30 years of experience working with the owners and management of middle market companies.  He understands the unique capital needs of these businesses and knows how to match capital market solutions to those needs.  He founded Stang Capital Advisory LLC in 2015 to advise companies in raising new and incremental capital and to improve the relationship between companies and their financing partners.

Stang was previously a Senior Vice President and Senior Client Manager at Bank of America N.A.  He led Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s (originally LaSalle Bank’s) nationwide Security Industry lending group from 2005 – 2015. Stang understands the unique value of these companies and knows the key metrics and underwriting standards utilized to maximize cost-effective financing.​​

Prior to joining LaSalle Bank’s Leveraged Finance Group in 2001, Stang had previous work experience in corporate banking, private equity and public accounting.  Stang received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and his Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.  He is a CPA.
