David is the CEO and founder of Deep Sentinel, applying his lifelong experience in AI to transform the physical security space. Deep Sentinel is the only company building and deploying AI-first technology to stop criminals before they can inflict damage on people’s businesses or homes. Prior to Deep Sentinel, Mr. Selinger was an early employee at Amazon, working directly with Jeff Bezos, where he started and ran Amazon’s first AI team “Customer Behavior Research”. David then went on to co-found Redfin (NASDAQ:RDFN) and RichRelevance, an enterprise AI company for retailers. David studied Artificial Intelligence and robotics at Stanford University, holds numerous patents in the machine learning space, and has co-authored a number of peer-reviewed papers. His academic energy is now focused on the West Coast Machine Learning Meetup which is a weekly lecture series he has run for 7 years with a group of AI researchers and enthusiasts.
