Sherry Vidal-Brown, Ph.D

Sherry Vidal-Brown is an expert instructor for SMU Cox School of Business. She is also the Chief People Officer for Caliber, helping to drive the culture and leading teammates to their full potential.

Sherry Vidal-Brown been in the role since July 2021 helping the organization with its growth plans building a solid talent strategy and ensuring the organization is optimized for scale. She’s passionate about talent development, diversity, and utilizing technology to improve the employee experience.

Her expertise is helping organizations navigate through a variety of business, technology, and structural changes utilizing various communication and people strategies to minimize impacts to employee productivity. In addition to Sherry’s HR responsibilities she oversees Caliber’s internal and external communications and corporate social responsibility departments. She is passionate about creating a culture that delivers a great experience for team members, guests and partners.

Sherry has held various leadership positions and consulting roles at FedEx-Office, American Airlines, Bain & Company, and Korn Ferry/Personnel Decisions International.

She has been recognized by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the “Top 25 Women to Watch” in Dallas. In 2021, she was named by Ragan Communications as one of the Top Women in HR.

She led G6Hosptiality to be recognized as a Top 10 2021 Military Friendly Employers for G.I. Jobs. In 2020, the company was named “Best for Vets” employer by Military Times.
